babys and all that jazz

Finally, FINALLY with all thanks to the LORD, my little sister gave birth to a healthy long little girl, 11 days overdue. After a long and unsuccessful labour Maddi was zipped off for a csection and Yesterday I got to meet my new niece Jemimah Therese!! Born on the 18th of July at 2152hrs. Some facts are
Weighing 3765g, length 54cm, and head circum 35cm
which Ive just stolen from maddi's blog haha. She is the cutests little thing and Ive fallen much in love. When I went to visit on Sunday, she was very unsettled. Thanks to Aunty Me, little J fell asleep on my chest for a good hour! YES! I love babies haha
being born is tiring...

Jemimah looks so different with her eyes open...a true mix of mum and dad

Whilst down in Busso I spent my valuable time getting maddis house in order for her return back home today and also getting my castle back in order after Dave did some work in the lounge. After several hours of scrubbing, and doing his pile of washing, and cleaning the fridge and the kitchen and inventing washing lines on a miserable day, I think the house sparkled. Me on the otherhand was exhausted haha. Had a truly good time hanging out with my fave man. Wish I lived a little closer :(

new things

So im back, obviously, from my travels and Daves back from his travels and we have all settled back down to the normal daily grind.
Dave was sick on his trip and lost bout 10kg. Now im feeling the pressure to hit the gym haha. We also got settlement on our lil castle in Busselton. It was so exciting picking up the keys but going in and having a look on a very cold and wet and miserable day sorta highlighted just how much work is going to have to be done. But hey its a new adventure. But now Dave's moved down there. Feeling the separation already :( But hes the one who  has to put up with the mice so lol....
Waiting impatiently for my lil sis to have her baby. Shes about ten days over due now so fingers crossed its soon!! Praying for safe delivery for mum n bubs.
So....
I cannot tell you how awesome it was to see the famous Coral Bay. I had an amazing time with Berd and Lissa and survived the snorkelling without drowning. Few close calls though. I drove the whole time in my white beast, and its a good thing I enjoy driving coz the 8 hour haul was getting pretty difficult as i started getting sore bum, sore arms, sore eyes sore legs sore back everything haha. Kalbarri was great seeing all the beautiful colours and canyons. Berd was pretty impressed with the scenery there despite the cold weather. Coral Bay was a little warmer but very windy and our first day at the beach was borderline cold. However having left on a 7 degree day at home we figured 20 and gale force winds and ice ocean wasnt to bad. Snorkeling was amazing the coral is beautiful and swimming with fish, albeit a lil nerve wracking, makes me feel like Im watching Nemo or something. But we got sick of the wind and headed to Exmouth which was beautiful and sunny and 27. Actually I think I might wanna go back soon my tan is peeling and my feet are FREEEEZING. We did some adventures tours including a quad bike tour along the dunes to look for turtles (no luck of course) and a glass bottom boat out to the ocean reef. Saw a few reef sharks (!!!) and millions of fish haha it was SO AMAZING and prob the best road trip ever. So heres a few photos if you wanna have a look
