Travels

Not the biggest fan of winter. I'm definately one of these people who get the July blues. I just think that if it's going to be that cold it should at least snow but we don't even get that here lol. Although yesterday I dashed out of bed at the speed of light hearing the distinct sound of hail on the metallic fence right next to my window. No way will I own a hail damaged car haha. Thankfully it didn't last long and it was quite soothing on the roof snuggled in bed. Currently got the cold I always seem to get in winter, it's a tad early I think coz our house is like the arctic circle and in true stubbornness i don't really dress for the weather. Lucky for ,e we got my niece here for the day so enjoying the cuddles and laughs.

Anyway so I waved the biff off early Tuesday morning as he left for his surfing trip with the boys. Needless to say I'm very lonely without him. Lost without my best friend haha. Thankfully ,y other best friend Lissa is in the same boat so we weep and move on together and my other bestie has the best hugs in the world so excited for our catch up tonight.

Anyway, in um an estimated 17 hours and 52 minutes me and Lissa and the lovely Bernice are heading off for some sunshine up north. Words cannot describe how excited I am to see the famous coral bay :) so lots of photos will be heading this wayim sure. Also borrowing ros video camera so a good project to create a film for our trip will keep me busy

Need to find some tissues cough and get back to packing.

new home

So, as Uncle James queried me..: "I thought you were adaptable to change?" I am. Well I should be. Because apparently Ive moved 13 times in my life. This last change seems to be the most annoying one or mainly its prob coz im old enough to actually have to help...lazy me. All in all we are very blessed to have moved into our new 4x2 house. Its quite big and nice but my room is tiny which takes some time getting used to...up comes elles spoilt nature haha. And it seems empty as renting means we have to ask if we can put up pictures and rugs. Its also cold but i spend a lot of time holding my feet near the heater which gets me nice and toasty. We have had a lot of rain which is nice if your not out in it. I was enjoying last week's indian summer, 25 and sunny. yeah I can cope with that. Fingers crossed my lovely nurse manager will give me a week off so i can sojourn to the northern parts of this state for a tan and some hang time with lovely bernice and lissa. EXCITED
Even more excited that my sister is due in 4 weeks and 5 days? Something like that. Dave reckons I get to excited for somethign that really has nothing to do with me but he grew up with babies. Also as maddi will know, I never used tobe able to sleep if somethig exciting was happening for her. sister thing. or weird thing. Im not sure but its cool. The baby better like its green room, we spent a lot of time and effort on it.

To add to all things new we finally got a new computer. Well HP laptop which I lvoe as its faster and easier to use than our old bomb of a system. Unfortunately, even with my computer skills, I could not get my ipad to adapt to the new wifi system. Calling in the boyfriend to help ASAP. Hes going away in a couple of weeks. Gonna miss him :( Riding solo. Insert lame photo of me using the webcam.

Yup already for work in my uniform......to sort out the hair sometime soon. Stressing minimally as I have a presentation due this afternoon. It was due three months ago but hey. Finance approval this week. Fingers crossed!!!
